Nirvana Court is a place where I meditate and reflect on things that go on in my life. Everything I post here are expressions of my own thoughts and experiences, which may or may not have anything to do with spirituality. Nonetheless, this is my journey as a seeker, a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother.

...literally means "blown out", as in a candle. In the Buddhist context, nirvana refers to the imperturbable stillness of mind after the fires of desire, aversion, and delusion have been finally extinguished. Indian religions describe it as the liberation from the cycle of rebirth (moksha) or the experience of blissful ego-lessness.

There is no meditation without wisdom, and there is no wisdom without meditation. When a man has both meditation and wisdom, he is indeed close to nirvana.

About Sahaja Yoga

Sahaja Yoga was founded by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in India in 1970, and has since spread all over the world. It is a unique method of meditation based on an experience called self-realisation (Kundalini awakening) that can occur within each human being. Meditation classes are being conducted all over the world by experienced practitioners of Sahaja Yoga, and are entirely free of charge, as one cannot pay for the experience of divine love.
